The light of the moon
Late in the noon
A shadow creeping across the lawn
Faintly you hear a yawn
As a creature steps into the light
As the day changes to the night
A kitten with fur as white a snow
Everyone who sees it will forever know
That its huge sky blue eyes
bathed in the light of fireflies
Can make even the darkest night
Sparkel with bright, hopeful light...
